A muscle is basically a collection of numerous fibre tissues, known as muscle fibres, which are being held together in the form of a bundle to form a single muscle. Muscles are joined to particular structures called joints, which can be moved only with the help of these muscles. This can be simply done by ‘shortening and pulling of one end of the muscle to the other end’. The electrical impulses that are being sent from the human brain to each single muscle fibre through the nerves are solely responsible for the activation of the muscle fibres.
